As far as the morph that went from 50k to less than 1k in 2 years. Obviously this is a little different, but I know everyone and their brother wants that morph in their collection. This morph may have seemed like it crashed overnight, but it has been around for ten years. The fact that everyone has males clearly compounded the problem. The morph was in too many peoples hands to even attempt to control the crash. People panicked. They still are.

People posting youtube vidoes saying how many they are going to produce did not help either. I realize there should be some sort of honesty in this business, but if you're telling people you're going to produce and sell 100 "investment" animals, you're fooling yourself if you don't think that's gonna scare people away from paying top dollar. Smart people know you'll need to dump them later, especially when you have 99 males.

One more thing on your dinkers. Work them. Find out if there is a super. Find out if they produce a white snake in any way. I totally get the fact that you want money now, and it is a little bit of a gamble to wait, but knowing all the answers on some projects is a good thing. The OD has been the exception to the rule, but it's very very hard to try and raise the price after you find out there is a super once you let some go for cheap. The people in for cheap will sell much cheaper. I know this sounds like a contradiction, but I have seen some people trying to sell their new morphs for 1k or less when they have no clue of a super. Clearly their morph is genetic, but they have not put the work in. If that morph pops out some crazy super, they cost themselves thousands.
