Again, I don't present my view to attempt to convince FR or those who strongly ascribe to his views.
I respect a lot of his ideas, but I have some other ideas too.

I present my ideas for others who might be interested in hearing them and would love to hear other ideas in response.
It is a tremendous shame that so many have become disappointed or intimidated and no longer contribute to the forum either because they are pounced upon for saying something or because they don't like the childish arguing.

The female in the picture below chose to lay her eggs in the bottom corner up against the plastic. Her head is above the substrate, but I didn't photograph it, because I don't want to disturb her.

Like I said, I think it might be important to them to feel surrounded by firm "walls" when they are pushing the eggs out.

In this vein, I'm inclined to believe the type of substrate might be important to them.
I will add play sand to the coconut for some of the females and see how that works out, though given that I've had very good results so far, I'm not expecting to see radically different results.
