You can then start him on small meals of cottage cheese with fiber added, such as wheat bran or psyllium husks, fed every hour or so. If this is going well, start introducing lean meat, then some animal fat, bone, yogurt and fish oil. Al should be added cautiously, watching for signs of discomfort.
