Posted by: Snaix at Sat Jan 5 21:20:46 2008 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Snaix ] Howdy, I have a 50 gal glass tank with a screen top (36 x 18 x 16) I bought for my corn snake not long ago. As sad as it may be, I need a pet that is much more interactive than my corn. All she does is sleep under the substrate and it looks like my tank is empty all the time. She does come out in the evenings and I do handle her, but reptiles do not associate with humans as mammals do. To her, I am a heat source and a provider of food, nothing more. Don't get me wrong, snakes are really cool to look at, just not social enough. So, I figure, I get a pair of rats instead.
