I think she's so extremely desperate for attention that it's driving her crazy. Only lately she's started to calm down a tiny bit. If she's in my lap laying down, she stops meowing. If I'M petting her or holding her, she just purrs and doesn't meow quite so much. But the SECOND she's away from me it just doesn't stop... I don't know if I can even afford a vet exam for her. My parents certainly aren't going to pay for it, and I could barely afford to take my little rats to the vet a while ago! Hopefully one will look at her anyway, but I'm almost certain they'll just take her from me and shove her off to the evil SPCA, which will without any doubt in my mind put her down quickly.
