I have no idea how to help him not be mean to your company. If I knew I was having company over I might put him in a room with litter box, food and water and let him stay in there until company goes home. Also you could try Bach's Rescue Rememdy (around 10 dollars a bottle) in his water or put a rub a few drops in his eartips(that hard they run when they smell it). Or maybe get a Feliway Comfort Zone plugin (about 40 at Petco). I'm not sure either of these would help. Hopefully others will have better ideas.
