I would imagine they are quite bonded, and while asking someone to take on an additional cat is asking quite a bit, I would think he would miss his brother dearly (and vice-versa). I suspect the problem in the home you placed him in, is that he is too playful for the lifestyle there AND the resident cats. No fault of theirs or Tiggers, just the way things are. I would hate for you to have to give him up permanently if it can be avoided. I really think a home with playmates would be ideal, good luck!
