Kit still was hissing and growling every time Bubba was near, but she was fine with me. I had sure to give her a lot of affection when she was behaving well and especially when I came out of the shower, to let her know that I don't always smell like vet too. Then when there was no reason for it and she would hiss or growl at the other cat, she got a lil spray of water from across the room. She really started to see exactly what it was that i was upset about and I really saw her "try" to fix it. After about 3 days of that, I fed them dinner next to each other, the way they have always ate before. They were fine, but she ate very fast, to get out of there. As Bubba started getting his strength back, he started to fight back a little. The night after they ate dinner together, I saw them licking each other's faces and I knew everything was OK.
