Ok so my cat has this very weird habit of skulking off into the bathroom when no one is paying attention. She sneaks into the bathtub and we assume lets the drippy faucet water hit her on her cheeks or side. We assume this because we actually have never fully caught her in the act. If someone comes into the bathroom when she is doing this extremely weird thing she freaks out and jumps out of the tub and runs like hell. Then she pretends like nothing happened almost as if to say "What are you talking about? I wasn't in the tub. I'm a cat, cats don't like water. Nope that was definitely NOT me." We have tried to sneak up on her to see what exactly she does in there but of course her keen little ears always hear us coming. We have noticed that her cheeks back or side are usually damp or her stomach. Now, by nature she is a VERY affection seeking cat. She lives for any and all opportunities to be rubbed, cuddled and loved. If you sit ANYWHERE she takes it as an open lap invitation and hops right on. If you don't pet her she nudges your hand until you do. She is very much the opposite of the archetypical aloof cat. Also, it can't be that she is simply trying to get a drink, because she has fresh water in her bowl always. Can anyone help? WHAT THE HECK IS SHE DOING IN THERE?
