I have three unrelated cats varying in ages from 1 year to 17 years. FOr the longest time I couldn't figure out why they were wet, on their bellies, on thier tails, on their faces...until I truned on the tub faucet to take a shower adn turned it off to go do something. I immediately came back and caught all three inthe tub, one laying inthe back, the other two vying for the dripping water! This behavior started in the last year. Now thye race me to the bathroom every time I head that way and sit int he tub and wait for the faucet to come on (which I indulge them in). They have a drinking fountain and a big bowl of water so it's not that they don't get enough. They used to take off wehn I caught them in the tub, but since I turn it on for them while I'm gettign ready for work, they all hear ait and come running (if they haven't been waiting ther ealready! LOL! You may want to try turing the faucent on the tub on to just a dribble and take your cat in there and show her/him the running water. Do this a few times and he/she may feel comfortable enough to not run every time he/she's caught! I do't think it reall has anything to do with not having enough water, they just like the tub water! (Except when it's time for the quaterly bath!
