Christie, It is a very interesting subject and one that I'd like to pursue. I keep thinking that I should feed my cats a holistic diet - raw food and all of that but have no idea where to even start.

Can you recommend some books on the subject and maybe where a person goes to even look for a holistic vet? Is it time consuming to fix a raw food diet? I wonder if this can be done in addition to their regular food or does it replace it? I leave for work at 4AM and wouldn't have time to fix them raw food before leaving for work in the morning.

It is something that I've been considering though because I have three overweight girls and one boy who gets UTIs which is probably due to eating dry food. The vet put him on Science Diet C/D but he doesn't like it and will eat the other cat's Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul instead.

Any advice or help that you can give me on this will be greatly appreciated.
