Another note on burmese versus tonkinese. Ok, so I had never met a tonk before I got one. I had also never met a burmese. When I went to pick Sina up from the vet after being spayed there was a woman waiting with a siamese and a burmese! So I only met the burm very briefly, but I was very suprised at how squished his face really was... very similar to a persian. Just seeing pictures I really didn't understand how flat their faces really are! As I am not a huge fan of squished faces (not to mention that they can result in breathing problems) I am very happy that I went with a tonk.
