As you already know all too well, there are (and have been for many years)COUNTLESS captive-bred crossed/hybridized snakes of ALL TYPES offered in the hobby as very specific species/ssp. that aren't even CLOSE to being what they are 'said' to be. It's a sad reality of the times, and is due to all the careless breeders out there today that only care about producing 'serpents' instead of genuine forms. It's too bad more people don't bother(or care)to research and learn about the natural ranges and subspecies BEFORE wanting to be a 'breeder'.
