Hi all, I purchased my florida kingsnake in early July at a reptile show. The breeder told me he was 3 weeks old at that time, which would make him 3 months old now. From the time I got him til now, I've been feeding him 1 pinkie every 5 days. Thinking it might be time to up his food items a bit, I bought a scale and weighed him. I was a little surprised to see he weighs 32 grams. According to the Munson plan (which I'm not following religiously by any means), this indicates he should be eating regular sized fuzzies?! That seems a bit much for a 3 month old snake. My question is, for a florida kingsnake, is 32 grams at 3 months old normal? He doesn't seem overweight at all. Could the breeder have been wrong about his age?
