Skinny King Snake

I had rehomed one of my king snakes because of personal circumstances. About two years later the person who I had rehomed him to gave him back. He wasn't in too good shape, not fully shed and a partially digested mice in the tank (girl said, "yeah, he's been doing that. I don't think he likes the fur.")
Needless to say he was skinny and hadn't grown all that much. The king snake I had kept was the same length and now is about 8 inches longer.
I'm currently feeding the skinny one every five days and he's shedding every two months or so. I wanted to reach out and see if I should be feeding him more or if every 5 is good until I can't see his spine any more.
