This allows them to get familiar with their new surroundings as they are probably WC and have travled from Africa-Customs-Importer-Wholesaler/Retailer-you. Start slow and five to ten minutes every two to three days. See how they react to your movements. Belly stroking after two months will start to calm them in a transe type. Never use fast movements or loud nosies they will bolt. Set up a routine with them and they will get more acclimated. Some take up to six months to realize they are staying home now.
