I've reported here in the past about my G. validus, Clyde, who's been living with us for about nine months.
He's now very holdable, and an incredible escape artist. He's still liable to run off when anything unexpected happens, but is otherwise the sweetest lizard I've every known.
He has developed two interesting habits. One, he refuses to eat crickets anymore, unless it is the only food and he's very hungry.
Second, he's developed an insane fondness for papaya, so much so that he will leave his enclosure (he's quite the jumper) and sit on the table staring at me if I have papaya and he does not. He likes grapes, too, but not many other fruits. He has also dined -- rarely -- on the salad mix we make for our Uromastyx mali and green iguana.
Clyde has worked out wonderfully. ----- Scott Robert Ladd 1.0.0 Iguana (Rex) 1.0.0 African Giant Plated Lizard (Clyde) 1.0.0 Uro mali (Wizard) 0.1.0 Corn Snake (Amber) 1.1.0 Red-Eared Sliders (Jade and Emerald) 0.4.0 Homo sapiens (Maria, Elora, Becky, Tessa) blog: http://chaoticcoyote.blogspot.com/
