My Uromastyx malis have always bruminated for several days in a row. I was somewhat surprised (though not very) when my pair of G. validus did the same.
Two days before Hurrican Wilma arrived in Florida, Clyde and Cassie decided curled up under a 12-inch plate, her tightly wound in the center with him around her (he's a bit bigger). They stayed there for five days, then came out yesterday to eat and bask. During this time, they had heat lamps (even at night, since our house is unheated).
They are still not very active, only coming out for a couple of hours each day.
I'm assuming this is normal behavior. ----- Scott Robert Ladd 1.0.0 Iguana (Rex) 1.1.0 African Giant Plated Lizard (Clyde, Cassie) 1.0.1 Uro mali (Wizard, Dizzy) 0.1.0 Corn Snake (Amber) 0.1.0 Red-Eared Sliders (Emerald) 0.0.1 Musk Turtle (Sausage) 1.1.0 Parakeet (Thor, Zeus) 1.4.0 Homo sapiens (Scott, Maria, Elora, Becky, Tessa) blog: http://chaoticcoyote.blogspot.com/
