ok i found three plated that are black...two with whitish stripes going down either side of the back from head to cloaca, and the other is the same with a more yellow tint on his lines. i currently have a plated with the yellow lines and yellow dots all over his body. so i have two questions. 1- is the one i have a g validus....an african giant plated. 2- are all of these that i have mentioned the same...what i am trying to do is breed them...so does it sound like they are the same species...if not will they still breed.....obviously if the conditions are right and they are male and female and all that, i just want to know if it is possible to breed these guys. thanks.....oh and how big will they get?
