I have a small(10'x12') room in my house I use as the reptile room. I have 8 large boaphile cages and two smaller racks for the babbies. I keep the cage heaters(flexwatt) on all the time with two very large windows looking into the room. I keep the A/C vent open in the room and it maintains a perfect temp throughout the entire room. In the summer the day/night temps in the room are 83/79 and in the winter it is 78/73 with all cages having a hot spot at around 92 degrees.



I live in Fort Lauderdale. Not sure if this helps but with enough cages in the room it will maintain its own temp and the cages will still have a hot spot
