Hi,
I've been interested in buying a snake (not soon, maybe within the year though, I just don't have the cash, plus I need to convince mom), and Lampropeltis getula nigritus has really caught my eye.
Are these generally rare? I've read that they are quite common in captivity, but after much searching on various sites, I've only seen a total of 2 for sale--both adults for $100ish each. As a matter of a fact, I think I've found a total of 1 thread here even mentioning them. I don't know, maybe they are only available certain times of the year.
Also, will anyone be breeding Lampropeltis getula nigritus anytime soon? If so, I'll buy a hatchling or juvenile off you within 6-18 months.
Thanks,
