That's really interesting, I really like animal behavior and I'm thinking about maybe getting into that someday. I've got a mexicana kingsnake, I've only had her for a few weeks but they seem very aware of their surroundings all the time, she even comes to the front of the tank when I go near it because she knows that I feed her. Those are probably intincts and what not though, as predators they should be alert and should know what's ok to bite and what might bite you back, lol. There's no way to really measure their "intelligence" though, is there?
