Thursday afternoon – Keynote Address and Paper Session, THS General Membership Meeting, Herp Auction; Friday - Presentation of Papers; Saturday morning - Field Trip







Conference Objectives



To foster an understanding of the past, present, and future of Tennessee and surrounding regions herpetology and herpetofauna; to promote communication between herp enthusiasts, researchers and managers of our amphibians and reptiles; and to identify ways of conserving our herpetofauna and their vital habitats.







Contributed Papers



Please submit (by email, FAX, or surface mail) the title of the paper, author(s), institutional affiliations by September 10, 2006 to the address below. In addition please include under separate cover, an abstract of the paper (500 words or less) with the title. All contributed papers will be limited to a 20-minute presentation time. An LCD projector, a standard carousel slide projector, and an overhead projector will be provided at the meeting site. Papers concerning any aspect of research on Tennessee (and surrounding regions) amphibians and/or reptiles are solicited as well as global issues affecting herps. Students, zoos and aquariums are encouraged to use this opportunity to present their research findings.







Poster Session



A concurrent poster session is also planned for the conference. Presenters should provide their own poster boards. Poster titles and abstracts (as noted above) are required.
