I work at their tables every year in Daytona and they always do something nice for me. This year it was this pair of snakes ($1,500 for the pair!) from Mark Bell. Mark said he's not really sure about the genetics of these guys and that there is a ton of variation in "speckling". You can see that with these two. They also apparently came from wildcaught adults originally that showed a lot of speckling and when those were bred the speckling increased. Check out the cool head and tail patterns. They are yearlings and are nice and fat. Steve, the manager at Mark's Reptile Industries, said they eat pinks like crazy right off the bat. Anyone know anything else about them or their origins? The one on the top is the female and the two shots below are the male. I'll post some better ones soon. Thanks again Rich and Connie! | ||
