The Inland Empire August meeting was very pleasant. It had been a while since I had attended a meeting. It was nice to see everyone again. It was also nice meeting a few new members as well.
I would like to personally thank Brian Prescott for giving his very interesting and informative presentation on "Herps and other Wildlife to Photograph while you're Birding the World". Mr. Prescott's photos from Africa, Australia, Thailand, Antartica, Belize, Costa Rica, and the U.S. are incredible. The information regarding techniques of field photography is also invaluable to those of us interested in nature photography. Many of Mr. Prescott's bird photographs are now on permanent display in the San Bernardino County Museum. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by and take a look.
Don't forget, next month, Dr. Sean Bush of Loma Linda University (and of "Venom E.R." fame) will be speaking on venomous snake bite. Don't miss out!
Mike
