"They are difficult.
I have limited experience with them. But getting them to eat, is very difficult especially compared to just about every other "small snake" species. They centipedes and spiders. And I would assume they were very specific about species of centipedes and spiders, cause I've never been able to get one to eat. But I have limited access to little bugs like that. A month and half without a little bug in them, they get very skinny.
They are small. They hide a lot. And kept in the same situations as other small snakes, they just don't do good. I am sure there is a recipe for keeping them. Maybe I'll spend a little bit more time on them this coming season."
Okay I did not know that. I assumed they were similar to the shovlenose which eat crickets with no problem. If you figure out the recipe please let me know.
