Thanks for your replies, everyone. I am actually breeding for high white dotted, so I was surprised with that one. That Dam's dotted sister produced a very nice dotted female a week ago and she looked very white straight out of the egg (picture below). I guess that is why I got surprised with the pink.



Three more have hatched this morning; one looks like the father, and two others are also extremely high white with just a touch of black. The two high white are pink also. This is my first year for Cali's so I thank you all for your comments; I guess they will whiten up as you all suggested.
