Yeah I thought of that the day after ordering the bolts. Haha. It would have been easier and cheaper too. Those bolts are a real pain to screw on.



Although I think this ended up being stronger and since I don't have a ban saw, cutting the PVC accurately would have been just as annoying!



As I am thinking about it though... having the bolts lets me change the heights without taking off all of the shelves above it.
