Yes, I agree that distilled water would work fantastic for not leaving mineral stains along the glass. Even if the snake sipped some off the glass, ...no harm done at all, because the vast majority of the water it gets is the "good stuff" from the bowl..........it would just be like he took a couple sips of "nothing"..LOL!
