When I have my natural terrariums going, I only use bottle spring water (yes, I make certain it is from an actual spring, we have a few around here ) or collected and slightly filtered rainwater. That's mostly because it's suggested for natural terrariums, tap water can be harsh on the plants. My snakes generally wait to drink until I get them into the bathtub, so they often get tap water.
