Yeah,...it's pretty funny sometimes in regards to people's expectation of what they "should" find in the "enchanted land" of brooksi.



In my experience living in southern Florida since I was a small kid, it's just as "Upscale" has said before,....just because the high yellow, or very pale animals do as a general rule "come" from that area, it CERTAINLY doesn't mean that most of the floridana indigenous to that general area look ultra spectacular, and you'll snag one or more of these "gems" on every herp outing.



As a matter of fact, the really killer ones are simply sprinkled around here and there amongst the more "average Joe" floridana, just like many snakes within lots of other types of clutches we breeders produce.



In any case, I guess if high yellow brooksi were under every piece of debris along those canals, they certainly wouldn't be as coveted, or revered as they are today in the hobby,...that's for certain!..
