In the Features section is my favorite article, Breeding Colubrid Snakes by Steve Osborne of Pro Breeders. It is a bit old but the info is great. It is a great reference and I have used a lot of his info to get myself started.
My favorite part has to do with feeding. If I am not mistaken he says a snake may need 100-150 food items during its first year to successfully breed within 2 years...this is from memory and if it is not EXACTLY what it says, people please....do not jump on my back OK haha.
I can tell you this, I have counted the numbers of pinkies and fuzzies and so on and I know where he is coming from on this.
Anyway I love the article and its right here on Kingsnake.com
Highly recommended
