Don't let him soak continuously. In fact I would remove the water dish and just offer it once or twice a day. I just lost a milksnake to blister disease because she soaked for like a week straight. She died within a week of me noticing the blisters. Just do what the other post said and keep it clean with peroxide and antibacterial cream.
