aggressive juvenile kingsnake

I have an agressive juvenile blotched kingsnake. She is pretty feisty and likes to bite. I know snakes go alot on scent of things but if I was to use gloves to hold her with to get her used to be held again would that be ok? I wasn't sure whether they also went by scent or just being picked up and held. Any one who can give me some info I would be much appreciative.
