Thanks Chris!, nice to be back for sure. I can certainly relate to your story from years ago, I have had very similar experiences like that as well from many moons ago. Actual "true" rossalleni have a tendency to have much lighter dorsal striping than their yellow rat counterparts, and sometimes they can even be basically a solid red/orange. Another key feature in detecting them in their purest form is the presence of a red tongue, as opposed to a dark one. In recent decades as their wetter "glades" habitat has been being developed and encroached upon, they have been much more prone to have been more invaded by the yellow rat form that prefers a more drained habitat. Book authors like Carl and R.D. Bartlett, as well as many other individuals all seem to agree about this too, me included.



Oh, yes, my computer crashed major many months back, and I just got a new one the other day, I sure missed being online, what a bummer!..LOL!
