RE: Classic brooksi?

I have had some that are about as good as any in the hobby, but in all honesty, none fit the bill as what were available in the 60's and 70's (when I did not like the looks of brooksi at all).

Not very many these days are pale creamy yellow at all. Most are too bright, have too much contrast, or black, and many have way too much color overall. Yet these are supposed to be classic brooksi?

Not to me anyway...
