What i was referring to in my other post was that hypos and Axanthics I had purchased back in 1993 (axanthic) and 1996 (hypo) was, that I KEPT these lines pure. I did not outbreed them. So all along I had "visual morphs" very nice genetics preserved in a living time capsule. I did not produce normal looking animals because I was going after producing visual hypos and axanthics. When I started mixing reccessive lines I realized these normals are pretty darn light speckled similar to what we used to see.
If you think about it, people back then bred nice nomals through selective breeding. Breeders would set up at Reptile Shows and display pics of the parents while selling the neonates. That is how reccessive traits get discovered. Frome breeding siblings back to one another. ----- www.Bluerosy.com
