The nicest person I spoke with was in a VA office. We spoke for about 10 minutes. I didn't call anyone in FL because they are the problem and I'm not going to change their minds.
The confused lady thinking this was a "local" problem I would have loved to talk to her. In fact I told everyone this was a local problem. I said not only is this a FL only problem it is a South FL only problem. I assured them marauding armies of pythons would never invade their states.
I told them right off that I live in TX but since I travel doing shows that I have probably done a reptile show in their state.
I only wish that over the last 15 years I would have kept a copy of the tens of thousands of photos families have taken with burms at my shows. Maybe a pic would be worth a thousand words.
If politicians saw thousands of pics of smiling,tax paying, voting, American families holding big snakes. Maybe that would change some minds. D.C.
