Howies stuff is a composite of Carl Bartlett's(W/C Dare county), Bob Fengya(W/C), Lloyde Lemke(Ocracoke), and Jim Kane's(Hatteras) lines of sticticeps. Howie captured another one himself many years ago as well that he has as a breeder from Cape Hatteras as well.



Even though there are a few different players that have some now, all of these can surely be traced back to these few same basic lieages, as there has always been an extremely small genepool of sticticeps anyway. And even some of these guys had, or DID have the same exact bloodline(s), or traded a couple to each other, etc....
