There are about sixty wild phenotypes of Cal. king, and many more "designer" forms. The "Banana" Cal. King originated from the Long Beach-Newport form. Even two Cal. Kings of the same similar "looking" phenotype can produce a plethora of different looking offspring in the same clutch, and ESPECIALLY if you don't know the long lineage of the parent stock involved.



I suspect you will get a mixed "grab-bag" of different looking offspring from that breeding, some intermediate between the two, with some looking more like one or the other parents as well, and even maybe a couple that look nothing at all like either one. These are all very realistic possibilities.
