From what I read the SC strain was prone to lizard feeding at least when young. The other strain was an SC X GA and that strain was feeding on mice better to start with. Will Still got some of those and as far as I can tell may have also found some of his own in GA (not sure).

Anyway I am only going on what I read from those that had the mozaic eastern kings.
