Happy New Year to all you kingsnake nuts out there. Looks like some very interesting projects in the works. Jerry: I am definitely interested in obtaining some of the locality black zonata if you will have any available. Please contact me at BLB1029@cs.com

I am strictly into locality specific kingsnakes as well as locale specific rats and pituophis. My most anticipated projects for 2010 is locality specific LaFourche Parish Louisiana speckled kings. I acquired several subadults and two, what turned out to be gravid females from Jeff LeCompte in early 2000. In addition to the subadults, I kept several babies back from the two clutches and now have a breeding group of about ten LaFourche's. Hopefully, I will get a clutch or two in 2010.

I also have a pair of Huntsville, Alabama locality Eastern Black Kings (L.g. nigra) that should produce this year that I am looking forward to.

AND, I acquired a pair of Brevard Cty Florida locality specific Florida kings from Buddy Grout that are ready to breed this year. The male of this pair is very light and just a beautiful king. I am very anxious to see what this pair may produce this year. I will definitely be holding some of these back.

Also have a breeding group of Edisto Island South Carolina locale Eastern Kings that I drove from Pennsylvania to Edisto to pick up from Heyward Clamp two years ago. I produced two babies this year and hope to produce several more clutches this coming year.
