These snakes were ALWAYS very RARE and the speckled ones the rarest of all. I don't agree with the "meansi" name or explaination. In the old days they were called blotched Kings and that's what was generaly found. I think these are nothing but a morph similar to the Everglades Rat Snake and normal Kings are found in the SAME areas. Sorry Bruce [who I know very well] their just a varient of E.
