If you have any further questions try contacting Jeff Hall (jeff.hall@wildlife.org), he is NCWRC's head herp guy. The state herp society is a great resource as well particularly if you are interested in the conservation/research side of herpetology (http://www.ncherps.org/). Lastly if you are ever in Raleigh stop on by the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, we have some neat stuff on exhibit and it is FREE!! (I may be biased as I am the Living Collections Herpetologist ).
