I use Chlorhexadine because I don't have to wait for it to dry completely. A quart will last me a year; I use it in a spray bottle. http://www.reptilebasics.com/chlorhexadine-16oz.html

I switched when I got tired of spending a lot of time drying bins by hand. If a snake comes in contact with it, it's no big deal.
