Those are interesting. I would have thought that the humidity would condense and then it would just be wet plastic against skin/scales. If they don't have any problems though...



My only advice would be that both of those hides let in significant amounts of light. If you bought some krylon black spray paint and put a few coats on that shoebox it would be even better. I guess its tough to get it dark without substrate though.
