The cichlids are even worse. It's hard to find any place where they haven't taken over. They seem to outnumber the native fish and who knows if they won't completely over take them. You never hear about the fish ruining the natural ecosystem other than snakeheads.



17 years ago I caught a couple mayan cichlids in a cast net. I put them in a large fish tank with around 12 jaguar cichlids that were larger than them. When I got home from schoool the next day day all of the jaguars were dead. The jaguars were rerally cool fish that would jump out of the water and grab a lizard out of my hands. It showed me how bad the mayans really were, now the mayans are everywhere and taking over.
