I find I am definitely paying more attention to whats available at the local big chain pet stores when I go in for dog food, etc. I am finding more and more comparable prices especially without shipping costs. Plus you can do a hands on inspection and most of the staff are pretty honest on the feeding issues of the animals. My only gripe is with the identification of the animals for sale some of the time, just like your "apricot" pueblan experience. That and they are buying wholesale off brokers, etc. who may not be representing the animals accurately and the chains are just calling it what they purchased it as. Still, even a normal pueblan at $30 is pretty good without shipping cost associated with it!! | ||
