He eventually got bored with snakes and gave his entire collection to me. The snake bred the following year and passed those old eggs too. Bill Love had success using a large needle to pierce the snake at a safe place and the eggs also to suck the yolk out so the snake could pass them easier. But I agree with Rainer and prefer to let the snake pass them on her own. Now I have seen snakes die from retained eggs also. I know this sounds like mixed signals but just want you to be awate of the situation. I just leave them and feed them a lot and hope they pass on their own. I have one right now that has some eggs from last year and she eats like a pig, so I am hoping she will pass them with some good eggs too. Good Luck! | ||
