By the mid 70s to early 80's, baby boas were going for $100 bucks in the pet shops. It was RARE to see something like a yellow ratsnake, california king, etc. for sale in the local shops. if you wanted it, you paid a premium LOL!! I saw my first cal king at a pet shop here in Baton Rouge around 1988-1989. It was an amel and over $100!!! It took a good five or six years later for stuff like florida kings, goini, etc. to be more in line with todays pricing. | ||
